Our November Event: Stepping Up for Kids

The 1st annual Stepping UP For Kids celebration was held on November 19^th at Avenues: The World School in New York City and was a great success.  It was a lively evening filled with excitement and inspiration.

 A special feature of the event, was a performance piece that included engaging and sensitive characterizations of the kinds of people CHP helps. The unique short play was developed by Scott Hinson, an accomplished actor and CHP supporter. He co-wrote the script with playwright Chris Phillips, directed the piece and performed along with three other talented actors.

In addition to the performance, guests “shopped” at a wonderful silent auction with a variety of items including a Paris apartment for a week, private guided tours at The Bronx Zoo and The Asia Society, fitness & beauty packages from some of NYC’s top establishments and a private experience on a stunt flight in California.

Enthusiasm for helping Child Help Partnership was also apparent in the posting of the names and donation on the “Giving Wall” pictured below.
